Trilobites from the Mckay group, British Columbia are stunningly well-preserved and treasured by collectors the world over. The scenic mountains where these bugs are found are among the best, most exciting localities I have ever personally collected at. Many species found here have been described as recently as 2016 by Chatterton, New and Jenkins. Well-preserved Cambrian trilobites like those of the McKay group give us a window into the incredible diversity of these shelled arthropods.
A new law, quietly passed in 2024, no longer allows fossils found in BC to leave the province. Unfortunately this means that only specimens I've collected in past years can be offered on the site. Large-scale aggregate and mining operations continue unbound by such restrictions.
