Since 2020, we've been operating digs in Northern Ontario looking for Silurian Trilobites, even locking down our very own quarry. Pieces like this are incredibly rare and difficult to prepare due to the presence of hard nodules and calcite crystals. Most of the trilobites from this area have not been formally described. Although they are very similar to species found in the early Silurian deposits on Anticosti island, they are in all likelihood, new species.

Photos taken both dry and under alcohol to show textures.
