The classic American trilobite! Formerly known as 'Phacops', this iconic trilobite is the most common trilobite found throughout New York State. On the Ontario side of things, they are quite the rare find and sport a caramel brown coloration. Prepared slowly under microscope with soft air abrasion, the macro photos show the quality of our preparation.

Golden duo

A stunning plate of rare Eldredgeops trilobites from the Widder formation in SW Ontario, Canada. Most notably, a 'nose-to-tail' enrolled example is preserved in iron pyrite, the first I have seen come out of the Widder layer. The piece displays wonderfully with a flat, freestanding base and the trilobite duo perched at the top. Excellent display quality.

Approx 2.5% restoration is present on the prone specimen where the side of the head was exposed to the elements.
