Perfect for any fossil collector in search of a high quality megalodon tooth. Found under SCUBA in the rivers of South Carolina by either myself or (more likely) my dive buddy, Dean Rogers. The diving involved with collecting these teeth is highly specialized and hazardous involving no visibility, strong currents and predatory marine life.
There's not much to say about Megalodon teeth that hasn't already been said in countless other venues. They are just the coolest and every collector should have at least one!
4.92" Otodus megalodon Tooth -SC serrated/high grade
A lovely quality Meg tooth with the classic triangle shape. Great tip, bourlette and serrations on this one including blotches of color on the enamel. Tooth has a blueish color that doesn't quite come thru on the photos. A top shelf tooth! Killer serrations on this tooth. No restoration or repairs on this solid tooth from a river near Beaufort, South Carolina.
